At the same time, Mbita and Suba sub-counties are known for their proximity to the islands of Lake Victoria, including Rusinga and Mfangano. These islands are rich in cultural heritage, including ancient rock art and Luo traditions. Additionally, the county is home to diverse agricultural practices, with Kasipul and Kabondo Kasipul famous for their fruit production, particularly pineapples and sweet potatoes.
